Our project partner San Donà di Piave has been honoured with the National innovation Prize SMAU 2017 for its outstanding implementation of smart city development projects fostering participatory community management and urban regeneration in the municipality, with WeGovNow being one driver behind this success story.

A further fruitful WeGovNow stakeholder workshop was hosted by the London Borough of Southwark. Representatives from the municipality, local NGOs and citizens' networks came together at the Canada Water Library in London to enage in an constructive dialogue on the current WeGovNow prototype and its incoproration into the day-to-day work in the municipality.

An interactive WeGovNow booth captured visitors of a popular annual fair in San Donà di Piave, providing an ideal setting for an open, constructive dialogue between citizens and project representatives on the potentials that lie in the WeGovNow prototype as well as on the local issues for which the community engagement platform could be harnessed.
