In this issue, let us tell you what we have achieved since December 2016 in relation to two main strands of work, technology and use cases. Firstly, the WeGovNow platform architecture is gaining shape. Secondly, the municipalities in the pilot sites (San Donà di Piave, Southwark and Turin) have drafted a firstcomplete version of their local use cases.

With the release of the third version of its prototype platform, our project has achieved another important milestone and the WeGovNow platform is now ready for being piloted under day-to-day conditions in Turin, London and San Donà di Piave. To make this happen, our project team has closely collaborated over the last months. A series of local events were held at the pilot sites involving a range of stakeholders in the iterative platform development process. Beyond this, WeGovNow and one of our pilot municipality have been awarded with a national innovation prize.

Since the beginning of this year, the WeGovNow engagement platform is now publicly available in our three pilot municipalities Turin, Southwark and San Donà di Piave, proving to be a helpful tool for collaborative processes between citizens and public administrations. Almost 10.000 users have already registered to the pilot service, and all three cities are strongly engaged in participatory policy and community development using the WeGovNow online service.

After three years, the WeGovNow project is coming to an end and it is now the time to round up what we have achieved and learned so far. This newsletter reports back on the projects achievement and illustrates the possible future of the WeGovNow platform.
